Question: What are some themes and ideas in Twilight!?

Not like a party one but like for an essay topic!. I have to write a 3-5 mins speech on twilight and any advice Or help would be very appreciated!.

wow!. that is really broad, and you could basically write anything!.
you could even talk about how S Meyer put all her ideals for the perfect man into edward cullen, or how she decides to change the vampires' habits and choices (ie animal blood, and the fact that they don't burn when in the sun!.) from the stereotypical vampire image!.
or, you could talk about how edward left bella in new moon, because he believed he was doing the right thing!.
what about the whole "rivalry" between vampires and werewolves!?

Compare this to relationships we see all the time!. Think of those teenage girls who want to run off with their boyfriends because he's 'just so utterly perfect'!.
