Question: What's your opinion on teen literature!?!?!? (Twilight, Gossip Girl,etc!.)!?

I am in 8th grade and love to read!. Give me, the good, the bad, and the ugly!. (The good = great books!. The bad = terrible books!. The ugly = stupid books) Here's my list:
The Good = Twilight series, Uglies series, Harry Potter
The Bad = Gossip Girl series
The Ugly = The Clique series

And I actually have veritable reasons for disliking the above mentioned books in the bad and ugly category!.

EDIT: Answer below bothers me!. Don't think you're wonderful because you switched to reading hard books!. It doesn't matter what books you read!. What matters is the message you take away from the book!. If you don't take a message away from a book, it's crappy!. Okay!? The Great Gatsby was so easy to read, but guess what!? I took a message away from it!. A book can be easy to read, but that doesn't make it's worth any less!. Animal Farm was really easy to read, but I took a message away from it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Gees when I was in 8th grade I stopped reading Kids books and switched to reading "Hard"SF especially Farmer

I don't think any books qualify as bad!. Reading is better than watching tv anyday!. I'm not going to lie when I say that I would rather read Twilight and Harry Potter than Jane Austen!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
