Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: The very first book I can remember reading was Dr Seuss' ABC book!. I read it to my kindergarten class!. I was really shy and spent most of play time either doing really easy jigsaw puzzles or reading books!. Two of the first books I loved, I read in first grade: The Secret Garden and The Little Princess, both by Frances Hodgson Burnett!.Www@QuestionHome@Com The very first book I remember reading was this book about mermaids!. My dad found this company that wrote these books where you could get the main character's names changed to whatever you wanted so he bought me it for a birthday and had the mermaid have my name and other characters' have everyone from my family's names!. It was really cute!. I sadly don't have it in my posession but I'm really hoping that my dad still does cuz that's something that'd be awesome to have!.
