Question: Can you give me tip on how to entertain my reader !?
i am writing a story and it seem so boring i liked to make it into a exciting ending but i am having lot of trouble !.
I cry and cry because i wanted to be near the tree !.Opening present ,eating at the dining table and not be here in bed !.Christmas is a time that family gets together and spent time with one another !.It's a time to remember what is important in life and that is family!.i learn my lesson to always listen to my mother ,and not ignore her because you could miss the fun in life!.
also there another part that is boring and this is the last one
My sister and i started to help my mom prepared the salad for tonight, as my mom mop the floor of the living room!.''Do not come into the living "said my mom !.My sister open the refrigerator !.she took out the lettuce ,cucumber,tomato,vinegar and olive oil!.i peeled the lettuce pie ace by piece as my sister added the vinegar and olive oil!.''Done ''My sister said
i feel like i forgot something but can't remember !.i enter to the room !.it was wet ,i felt the floor slippery !.i fell on the wooden floor!.I gr abed something to get up ,i grabbed the Christmas tree by mistake !.my mom came when she heard me fall ''Ouch i said''

While there are many ways to entertain your reader, the most important method is to keep them turning the pages!. Suspense is why we turn the pages!. The author makes us curious to know more about what is happening!.
Creating suspense doesn't mean you need to have a murder-mystery or a horror story!. Suspense is simply something that holds you, makes you curious, and makes you want to know what happens next!.

Your story is boring because nothing is happening!. All you're doing is describing a day in the life of a family at Christmas!.
This is just a report of what you did, what your sister did and what your mother did!.
No plot, no character development, no conflict, no resolution = no story!.
Your sentence structures, grammar and spelling also need a lot of work!.

My advice would be first to improve your English!. A good way to do this would be to read plenty of books in the styles and by the authors you like!. This would also give you a better idea of how to craft an entertaining story, and make technically correct choices (of grammar, punctuation etc)!.

Read some great writers like Ernest Hemingway or Stephen King!. Inspiration can come from this!.
also, you're not creating very interesting "pictures" for the imagination!. Start doing that!. i!.e!., what were you feeling when you fell on the floor and how does falling move the story forward!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
