It's the most femmy book I've ever read!.

It's a chick flick in novel form; chick flick lit!. The Mary Sue main character, Bella, sits there and ogles over her "perfect" vampire boyfriend the entire time, then moans and groans about how she's not good enough and pretty enough, then said vampire (aka Edward) goes on to save Bella from danger repeatedly, and then they live happily ever after!. It reads like the diary of an angsty, insecure teenage girl who wants to be loved and taken care of!. Bella is one of those maddening females that thinks she's worthless if she doesn't have a man and has no confidence at all!.

Blegh!.

If you can stomach chick flicks, you might like it!.

Personally I think it's stupid for guys to read Twilight!. I'm a girl, and I HATE it!. If I found out a guy I liked or was dating liked Twilight, the attraction would come to an end almost immediately!. I know it sounds snobby of me to say, but I honestly have very little respect for people who think Twilight is "the best book ever"!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The books are not meant specifically for girls, no!. The series is widely popular among both males and females!. But, the book series is mostly from a girl's point of view, and it talks about a few girl things!. But this series is wonderful and captivating!. Well I used to read alot of Richard Laymon books and most of the time the male is the lead role so I think twilight should appeal to both female and male but I suppose the mushy oh edward I love you bits could get boring for boys, even though girls love it!Www@QuestionHome@Com
