Question: What do you think is better: Night by Elie Wiesel vs!. Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank!?

they are both good!. it's hard to compare them as they are both true stories about different aspects of the shoa - "night" is about life in a concentration camp & "anne frank" is about hiding from the nazis to avoid going to a camp!.

for another aspect of the holocaust, i would also recommend "the hiding place" - a true story about a christian dutch family that helped to hide & save jews in holland!. they were eventually betrayed & sent to the camps themselves!. it's a very moving story!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I liked "Night" better!. While Anne Frank discussed events that did happened outside of the concentration camps, Elie Wiesel wrote about his experiences in the camp as well as the events that proceeded it!. Both very moving!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Probably "Night!." However, it is extremely graphic and disturbing!. I think it's important to read though so that people understand the trauma that people endured during WWII!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
