For now, I would suggest you just try to relax and keep doing what you're doing now - building your vocabulary and reading other fantasy books - and maybe try finding some books about writing (i!.e!., Writing Magic by Gail Carson Levine) to read now, too!. You could try writing short stories and character development exercises for now, too, to get some practice before you tackle the entire book!.
Good luck and happy writing :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would suggest On Writing: a memoir of the craft By Stephen King!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Most writers have an Ideas file!. They may have a snippet, a sentence or phrase that could become a story, article, novel, whatever, or they may have a detailed synopsis!.

Write up your truly original idea in as much detail as you can produce without having to flesh it out!. Don't worry about it fitting into a fantasy with a stale, unoriginal premise!. Just record what you've got!.

Then let it sit while you hone your skills as a writer, mastering the craft until you're ready to enter a business where writing well for your age carries no weight!. When you're ready to compete against adults with established careers in the business, flesh out your idea!.

Even if someone has used a very similar premise, it's the world you create and the characters who populate it, and what they do, that will sell the book--if it's written well enough!.

In the meantime, read and write every single day!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
