Question: What did you think of Breaking Dawn!? What is the theme!?
I, personally, didn't like the book!. I thought that it was random and pointless!. I mean, what is the point of the entire series!? I thought that the theme was "sacrificing for your loved ones" but Bella doesn't sacrifice anything in the book!. She has an extreme resistance to the smell of blood, she keeps a relationship with her family and Jacob, and she even has a kid! AND she has a super power!. It's like christmas everyday for her now!. She sacrifices absolutely NOTHING!!! HAPPILY EVER AFTER! What really annoys me is that everybody just walks away at the climax!!! So what was the point of the book!? It could've just stopped at Eclipse!. Is there really a point!? Is there even a theme!? If there is, please tell me because I can't think of a single one!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
I think the theme was that not all confrontations need to be won through physical force!. The final confrontation was won through mind games and the best player wins!. They had to use strategy to allow them to live happily ever after!. Bella goes from the weakest player in the Cullen clan to the strongest!. At least that is how SM explains it!. This was not my favorite book of the series either!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I thought it sucked!.
Stephenie Meyer broke all her own rules by having Bella get knocked up, and then just explained it all by saying "it's fiction"!.!.!.what kind of lame response is that!? And that whole chromosome thing didn't make ANY sense!. She just made herself look really stupid!. And all the stuff you already said really bothered me too!. I don't think there is a theme!.!.!.stupidity!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I thought it was good, but also a little sad with Bella changing into a vampire and all!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
