The best modern author is JKR!. I love her!. Her writing, while not excellent, is good, and Harry Potter is fabulous!. The plot is amazing, the characters are well developed and interesting, and the theme of the series is great!.

My favorite non-modern authors include the Brontes, Charles Dickens, George Eliot, and Jane Austen!. They are fabulous writers, their stories are intriguing and the plots are woven together well, and they have endearing messages!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Stephanie Myers- her books come to life in your head and keeps you hooked, its like a movie in your head that's why they have a movie coming out about it!. you'll like it if ur into the suspense, love (lots and lots of it), and action (TWILIGHT SERIES)
