Question: Can you help me with my writing!?
I am writing a teen love story, and I am having a great time writing it!. I have written 12 pages, and have been writing it for about, a month and a half!. I always know what to say, and I feel like the writing is coming to me, but I don't feel like this is going anywhere!. I want to share some of my writing, but I don't trust anybody on the internet (I am only posting this question out of curiousity, as to what some people might have to say)!. I am thirteen, and I don't know anything about the writing process!. Help!. Please, I need information!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hey, my name is Jenn and I'm 15!. I'm actually working on publishing a book right now that I wrote when I was 13!. If you don't want to share it on the internet then ask your English teacher to read it!. I'd love to read it, but I won't push you to send it to me!. Ask friends for their opinions and tell them to be honest about it!. Make sure to edit as you write!. I learned that the hard way!. I finished a 450 page book and didn't do any editing as I went along and it took me twice as long!. What else would you like to know about!. Feel free to e-mail me at talentgurl4 @ yahoo !. com or just send me a PM :) Try doing something just for fun use www!.fanfiction!.net or www!.fictionpress!.com If you don't want to put that one online put something that you put the same amout of effort, same genre, and see what kind of reply you get!. That's what I did!. also make sure to map out your story!. make an outline or a summary at least of what you want to happen!. It will help keep you organized and will just help you a lot in general!. Summaries are especially helpful to me because I can plan out the whole thing, add in things here or there and take things out!. I plan out my whole story in the beginning before I start writing and then write and go down the summary expanding and adding more information!. Good luck and whatever you do, don't give up or let people tell you that you can't write it!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Basically it comes to you how you want it to!. I would use personal experiences and ask your friends and brothers and sisters for help!. your parents might also help but they might not be as helpful!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The best way to get ideas and to make sure they're going somewhere is to write it down!. Then draw lines going to what might and could happen because of it!. Cause and effect!. That should make it easier and more funWww@QuestionHome@Com

I think that your decision not to post your story on the Internet is sensible; personally, I would never do that, and not so much from fear of plagiarism but because it's unlikely anyone is going to pay for something which he or she can read for nothing!. Additionally, often the critiques which you receive if you post on-line (particularly here on Answers) will simply say that what you've written is wonderful (and often, in my experience, what the responders are giving rave reviews is actually awful!) When your story is finished, proofread, and edited, my advice is that you have it reviewed by someone qualified who will give you an objective critique!. I have written (and self-published) two novels, and I can empathize with your feeling that what you're writing is coming to you as I had the identical sensation as I wrote!. I think, though, that your problem of your story going nowhere is that you must plan it thoroughly before you continue writing!. Make an outline of the plot for your story, including the conflicts which the teenage lovers must face, how they will resolve those, what the climax will be, and how the story will end!. I think that, if you do that, the writing will then become easier; your creative channel will remain open during the actual writing, but you will know exactly where you are intending to go with it!. Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com
