I love Meg Cabot (Heather Wells & Queen of Babble, and tons of others), Sophie Kinsella's (Shopaholic [soon to be movie] & Remember Me), Jennifer Weiner (Good in Bed & Certain Girls) and Emily Giffin (Something Borrowed & Something Blue) books!.They are all great authors!

For a young adult/teen Meg Cabot's young adult books!. She is the best author!. also best selling!. She wrote tons of books including the Princess Diaries (Movies based on her books), Mediator (upcoming movie), 1-800-Missing (TV show based on her books), Jinx, Airhead and more!. I don't know what genres you like, so I'll give you a bit of each (I haven't read any of the books you've said you like):

Science Fiction:

-Watchers I!.D by Peter Lerangis!. Blurb on the back of the book:

Nobody knows who the watchers are!. But they are around us!. They observe us!. They see the things we can't see!.!.!.

Who is Eve Hardy!? Is she the only child of a normal pair of parents!? Or is she the offspring of a bizarre experiment that has gone horrible wrong!? Eve doesn't know!. But if she doesn't find out the truth, it will destroy her!. Time is running out!.!.!.

Romance:

-Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr which is about this magical race called fey's and two rulers who are fighting against eachother- the winter Queen and the summer King!. In order for the summer King to defeat the Winter Queen, he must find the Summer Queen who will help give him back more power to defeat the Winter Queen!. He then thinks it is Aisline who does not want to join him, as she has the 'sight' to see fey (they are invisible to normal humans) and has been taught that they are not trustworthy and should be avoided!. This makes a terrible problem for Aisline as he wishes to court her, and she is already in love with somebody else and does not trust them!. It's really good! Blurb on the back of the book:

Rule 3: Don’t stare at invisible faeries!.

Aislinn has always seen faeries, although they would certainly blind her if they knew of her Sight!. Powerful and dangerous, they walk hidden in the mortal world!.

Rule 2: Don’t speak to invisible faeries!.

But now faeries are stalking her!. One of them, a beautiful boy named Keenan, is trying to talk to her, asking questions Aislinn is afraid to answer!.

Rule 1: Don’t ever attract their attention!.

Now it’s too late!. Keenan is the Summer King and has sought his queen for nine centuries!. Without her, summer itself will perish!. He is determined that Aislinn will become the Summer Queen at any cost !.!.!.

-Twilight by Stephenie Meyer!. Blurb on the back of the book (also note: It's one of the top 20 books in the bookstores at the moment and one of the top 50 books in 'books you can't put down' list):

About three things I was absolutely positive!.
First, Edward was a vampire!.
Second, there was a part of him - and I didn't know how dominant that part might be - that thirsted for my blood!.
And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him!.

When Isabella Swan moves to the gloomy town of Forks, and meets the mysterious, alluring Edward Cullen, her life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn!. With his porcelain skin, golden eyes, mesmerizing voice, and supernatural gifts, Edward is both irresistible and impenetrable!. Up until now, he has managed to keep his true identity hidden, but Bella is determined to uncover his dark secret!.

What Bella doesn't realize is that the closer she gets to him, the more she is putting herself and those around her at risk!. And it might be too late to turn back!.!.!.

Deeply seductive, and irresistibly compelling, the book 'Twilight' is an extraordinary love story that will stay with you long after you have turned the final page!.

Action:

-Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz (the first book in the Alex Rider series)!. Blurb on the back of the book:

They told him his uncle died in an accident!. He wasn't wearing his seatbelt, they said!. But when fourteen-year-old Alex finds his uncle's windshield riddled with bullet holes, he knows it was no accident!. What he doesn't know yet is that his uncle was killed while on a top-secret mission!. But he is about to, and once he does, there is no turning back!. Finding himself in the middle of terrorists, Alex must outsmart the people who want him dead!. The government has given him the technology, but only he can provide the courage!. Should he fail, every child in England will be murdered in cold blood!.

The first in the Alex Rider series by British writer Anthony Horowitz, Stormbreaker will have pulses racing from start to finish!.

-‘Tomorrow when the war began’ by John Marsden which is about a group of teenagers who go camping for a while in the holidays, and when they return home, they find their whole town captured and that they are at war!. All telephone lines have been cut and there is no way out of the town without facing thousands of guards!. They are the town’s only hope to freedom!. It’s really moving to see what they have to go through (people die, become injured and captured, and they still have to keep fighting!) Blurb on back of the book:

Ellie and her friends leave home one quiet morning, wave goodbye to their parents and head up to the hills to camp out for a while; seven teenagers filling in time during the school holidays!.

The world is about to change forever!. Their lives will never be the same again!.

Would you fight!? Would you give up everything!? Would you sacrafice even life itself!?

Tomorrow when the war began asks the biggest questions you will ever havWww@QuestionHome@Com
