has anybody heard bout the twilight book being removed out of all the middle schools cause apparently they are too mature for middle school students and they are now placing them in all highschools!.!.!.!.!.!. does anybody know why!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, the reason maybe that it is Teen Fiction!. Over here in Aus, it's a 13+ read!. I'm not sure what the age group is for a middle school, but that maybe why!. And it may also have to do with some of the themes of the last book!.

That's the only reason I can think of!.

It's because (SPOILER ALERT),

in the fourth book, a teenager has sex (which is not explicit, but not approapriate for kids) and is impregnated with a vampiric baby that nearly kills her, and the other vampires have to perform an emergency "c-section" by ripping her belly open with their teeth!. The baby then tries to attack its mother when it smells her blood!.

Sound appropriate for middle school kids!? No!. High-schoolers!? Fine!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well in my middle school, there is only one Twilight book!. Only one!. Apparently the first one only!. I think some people removed it cause at the 4th book or something it has more mature stuff in it!.

I really don't get why they are doing this!. I mean the first 3 books don't even have like a lot of snogging in them or something!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ah that's stupid, they did the same with Harry Potter for a while, but people donate them and they end up right back on the shelves eventually!. If kids want to read them they will go to the library or just buy it!. Seriously!.!.!.that isn't solving anything!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Actually, I haven't heard it!.

But for me, maybe the reason is it has some scenes that do not fit with middle-schoolers!. And I heard that it's PG-13 in the movie so it's not for middle-schoolers!.!.!. for high-school!.!. really fine!.

I haven't heard anything abou that!. They aren't taking them out of my middle school, but it they are taking them away, it's probably because they think they might be too sexual!. But i don't know!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

That is not true!. It must be a rumor!. At my middle school they have like 2 copies of each book in the library, and we have a Twilight club, and our fair is coming up soon :)!. It is not true!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I haven't heard of this but I would guess because of the very vivid and descriptive sex scenes in the last book!. I dont know why the other ones would be removed though!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
