Question: Best scary book that makes you cry!?

I'm looking for a scary book that makes me cry!.
Any recommends!?
Or at least a really good book that makes me cry!.
After you post the Books and the author, it'll be really nice if you explain to me what it's about!.

and many many more!. But I can't think right off the bat!.

It's scary as in heartbreaking!. If that makes any sense!.

The scariest book I ever read was the Bible, but it didn't make me cry!. There have been many books that made me cry, but were not scary at all - just human drama!. I do recall crying at a part of Stephen King's "The Stand"!.!.!. but not at a part that was scary!. It was a part that illustrated the unquenchable human spirit in a deliciously small and surprising way!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Death Be Not Proud by John Gunther!. I read it a very long time ago, it's about a father coming to terms with his son's terminal brain tumor, and eventually accepting his death!. I don't know why you would want something to make you cry but that is certainly the saddest book I've ever read!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
