Question: Is the book Twilight really that good!?

I'm thinking about reading it, I can only get hooked on books that are easy to read and interesting to follow!. Would Twilight be a good choice!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

from what you've said i think it would be a great choice for you!. it is very easy to read, there aren't a ton of big words and things like that!. and it starts out a little bit slow, but after a little bit it definitely picks up the pace!. How about yes and no!. Like just about everything in life, it has the good and bad!. But then also bear in mind that everybody has their own opinion!. And this is mine:

What I liked:
-Romance book!. I love romance books, and even though it's cliched, it's a romance book!.
-Lovable characters!. Alice and Edward are the two who come to mind!.
-About vampires, and they're a new fad now!. Especially with the Twilight Series!.
-It's getting people interested in reading, and that is always a good thing!.
-Interesting, I couldn't put it down!.

What I didn't like:
-Overrated!. Yes, I loved the books, but some people are acting as if it is the greatest thing since velcro!.
-The vampires aren't real vampires!. Now it is fiction, so the author, Stephanie Meyer, has room to be creative!. But the sparkling vampire bit doesn't seem to fit with the evilness of most of the vampires!. Imagine being attacked by a vampire and then it just starts sparkling! I would die laughing, let me tell you!.
-Obsessive fans!. Ugh, the worst bit!. They're screaming Edward's name and making Twilight scrapbooks and Twilight playlists! For goodness sake! The book isn't written that well either!.

What made it poorly written:
-Purple prose and tons of it!. It's when the descriptions are ridiculously long and exaggerated!.
-Mary Sue characters!. The perfect character who can do no wrong and everything goes perfectly for her!.
-Cliched and very predictable!.
-Not planned out too well!. And it shows with plot holes!.
-A little too happy-go-lucky!. The main character never sacrifices everything and gets what she wants!.
-Overuses adjectives!. She describes the same things with the same adjectives over and over again!. Goes along with purple prose there!.

Now don't get me wrong, I liked the books, a lot!. It is a nice easy read with a happy ending!. And trust me, I need a happy ending book often for me and my raging emotions!.

Good choice!? Yes, just don't become obsessive!. And next time look on the Answers Forum at other questions!. Trust me, this has been asked a lot!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Deffinitely! It's a bit slow to start off with (the first chapter draws out forever!) but it is FANTASTIC once you get into it! It's even one of the top 20 books in the bookstores at the moment and one of the top 50 books in 'books you can't put down' list!. It is quite easy to read, since it is all in 1st person and told by one characters point of view, so it's easy to follow and doesn't take long to read!. Yes, you get hooked fast!. Well the first few chapters are boring, and it took me a week to get through the first one (i'm a procrastinator) but once i kept reading i was hooked! and their really easy to follow!. i wasn't confused on any part that made me turn the pages back and try to remember something!.

I love the Twilight saga (not obsessed though)

oh and if you do decide to read it, its okay to like Edward, but please don't get obsessed like most teens to seriously, its a freakin' character!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, Twilight is certainly easy to read, as it requires no brainpower at all to comprehend!. I can't say that it's "good," because the main reason why all of these people like it is the "hot" male lead!. The writing, characters, and plot are all awful!. If you don't like sappy romance, you shouldn't waste your time, because that's the only thing it has to offer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

its a book to entertain yourself to have fun to fall in love!. And it gets you hooked, many say its badly written but its a book to have fun it doesn't matter, its just fun and easy to read!.

Twilight is a great choice!. Yes u may get some criticism from people saying yur a vampire fanatic ( i have ) but it it all around a great book

like romeo and juliet! (best quality i believe)
not confusing at all!
told in the piont of view of a girl
the sequels are even better (with the exception of New Moon)
keeps u hangin all the time! so u just move to the next chapter!

overall,

so is it's sequel, new moon!.
eclipse and breaking dawn were good, but could have been so much better!.

people cant say "i like them" or "i dont like them" to determine weather or not YOU like/dislike them, so i attached stephenie meyer's webpage in the source section!. you can read the first chapter of each book and decide if the twilight saga is worthy of your time!.

It's not the greatest series since sliced bread, to put in bluntly!. There are a lot of things I could like better!. But, to give it its prompts, it may be a soppy, cliche vampire love story, but it's a *good* soppy, cliche vampire love story!. Twilight is a fairly interesting book, so it should keep your interest!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I love them!. But the Twilight series is kind of one of those things that you either love it or hate it!. When I first started reading them I thought it was a little boring but my friend told me I had to finish Twilight before I could decide if I liked the series or not so I continued to read and I'm glad I did :]Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's an easy read and pretty entertaining!. Though in all honestly, the writing isn't amazing!. Some parts drag on, but it's otherwise interesting enough!. As you can tell, I'm not a crazy fangirl, but I'd recommend it haha!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
