Is anyone else sick of Twilight?

Question: Is anyone else sick of Twilight!?

I am tired of seeing in every question from this section some reference as to how the Twilight series is the greatest thing ever!. I've read a few chapters just to see if this was actually great writing, but I found it average!. Granted, I haven't read much of it, but the critics say it's really not the great either!. I just don't understand how Meyer can be regarded so highly in comparison to fellow sci-fi authors Asimov, Clarke, Dick, and Bradbury all of whose writing clearly contains more depth and substance!.

I'm actually a fan of Twilight but (before you stop reading) i see where you're coming from!. Granted, i find the plot line intriguing and it probably is one of my favorite books although her writing style is average as you say!. Not that i can write well myself, but i find that compared to my other favorite authors she doesn't quite write in the way that makes you not want to put the book down (unless your really really into what is going on!.)

So yeah i have to agree with here: I am sick of Twilight being praised everywhere i look!. There are more books out there that aren't that popular that i could say are even better than Twilight!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's not exactly the style of writing that makes it such a fantastic book, it's more of the story and the characters!. It's a "forbidden love" story with a twist!. Each character is also very complex which makes the story very dynamic and difficult to put down!. This book was written for teens/young adults, and much of the book is mostly conversational, but that's what makes it easier to picture and imagine in your mind!. It's kinda of like a screen play rather than a book, but I'd say why people love it so much is mainly the story and the characters!.

In reality, the few chapters that you read were probably the begining, right!? But just like everybook, it's the end chapters that are the best!.

Twilight is one of those books that I can read over and over again and it always amazes me and I always notice something I didn’t see the first time!. So no, I’m not sick of it- at all!. I love it! But I see where some people could be sick of it!. It’s all in your opinion!.

of course some people might find a book absolutely amazing and another person may not!. but for me i loved twilight!. and even though the writing is not as great as some other books out there, i love the story, and the romance!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

im a fan of twilight, but all these ppl continually asking questions make me sick!. most of the people currently reading the books are just reading them because of the movie and to be in with the 'mainstream'!. its a bit annoying!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I understand what you mean!. I am getting fed up of always seeing mostly every question somehow relates to the Twilight series! I am actually glad that a lot of people, especially young people are reading more and more, which is fantastic! I just wished that they'd expand their love of reading onto something else instead of commenting how awesome the series is!. My friend, Samantha is in love with the series and I sit next to her in two classes! She constantly complains how she wishes Edward/Edwin/Ed!? (main male character, all the little girls love) was a real boy!. It gets really frustrating, but you got to love their habit of loving reading! Www@QuestionHome@Com
