A Rose for Emily by William Faulkner, I think, helps to portray more grim, vile aspect of life!. A Rose for Emily is a story with many twists and turns that stands by itself!. The people of the town view Emily as a person who is not a complete human being!. This is a an entertaining ghost story, in a sense, because it is about a woman named Emily that never had an opportunity to explain her life while alive is now sharing her life through her ghost!. The story itself represents the ghost of Emily because every time it's been read it tells of her life through the mysterious things that she did!. For example, her sleeping with a dead corpse of her father for at least two days not to mention her interesting friend by the name of Homer!. The life of Emily will forever haunt us every time we read it over and over!. In the short story A Rose for Emily, the climax comes at the very end of the story when the town's people come to Emily's house, after her death, and discover that she has been sleeping with the corpse of her ex-lovers body for numerous years!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
