many ways!.!.!. internet search, referal, yellowpages, asking a friend who has knowlege in this area!. Remember, dont quit after one rejection, just keep trying!. Many great books are regected before publishing!. (Lord of the Rings was rejected twice) Just dont be encouraged and be persistent!. You'll be fine!.

Writers Market!. It's a book, usually available at the library!. It's also a website!.

You need to write a query letter and have a synopsis of your book available!. Even if you go for an agent, you will need to follow the same process!.

If you want to publish something only for your own self-satisfaction, there are a lot of PoD (Print on Demand)publishers or vanity presses!. But going this route can make you and your book look bad to a traditional publisher, so if sales is your goal, or royalties, then you definitely do not want to go that route!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Generally you don't contact the publisher directly when you don't have a clue about the publishing industry!. Why bother them for information you can get on the internet!? Most publishers have a website!.

If you don't the names of the major publishers for the type of book you have (or want) to publish, then you'll have to do some research to find that out!. That can also be done on the internet!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

look into popular books and write down the names of as many publishers as you can, go on google and get the info about them, and mail them out!.
