Question: Eragon question!. Am I the only one who's noticed that!.!.!.!?
Am I the only one who's noticed that the name Eragon, from Christopher Paolini's Inheritance Cycle, rhymes with the kitchen spice terragon!? Seriously!. Call me Captain Random, but I think that's strange!. I wonder if that's where he got it from!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I noticed that too! Yes, I have random moments like that too!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i agree with j!.!.!.i think it has a lot more with Lord of the rings than kitchen spices!.
soooo many episodes in eragon are complety taken from lotr, even down to the names, which is incredibly annoying
i realize that writers subconciously draw ideas from other works, but this was extreme
i remember when i first heard about eragon and i had to keep correcting myself so i didnt say aragorn all the time, considering "eragon" is just "aragorn" without the second r!.

i dont thing terragon has anything to do with it though, paolini claims he came up with the name because it sounded like "dragon"!.!.!.whatever

the books are good but would have been terrific if it waited a few years to mature his writing and sense of originalityWww@QuestionHome@Com

i thought more that it sounded like Aragorn from the lord of the rings trilogy!. i mean he got most of the story from there anyway, why not take a character's name!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
