Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Beowulf represents the epic hero in many ways!. His journey translates into the journey of the Anglo-Saxon culture!. He is strong, brave, and confident, which demonstrates the values of the Anglo-saxon society!. also, he is constantly in a struggle between fate (wyrd in middle english) and self!. He mentions several times trying to battle God's plan for him!. He says that great feats are because of people, in the face of God!. Not necessarily making fate out to be a curse, but a force that must be battled!.

I teach a few lessons from this, perhaps this site will offer more info!.
