Question:

When I was in elementary school, I remember reading a book that I believe had thirteen or 13 in the title!?

It was about a man in a hot air balloon that traveled to these fictional lands and I cant remember many details about it, but he met strnge people and went to I think thirteen different fictional places!. When I read it, it had picture of hot air balloons on the cover (then again all hot air balloon books pretty much do)!. I really would like to know the title or author so that I can read it again!.

THis sounds a bit like the novel "The Twenty One Balloons" by William Pène du Bois!. However, the man in that novel did not travel to thirteen places, but twenty-one!. The novel also has a picture of an airballoon on its cover!. also, when I read the novel, I remember that the main character did met strange people!. Maybe you just remembered the wrong number Google the novel and see if the cover looks familar!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
