Question: Book suggestions for an emotionally deep novel!?
I loved Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre, Daphne du Maurier novels, Jane Austen novels!. I also loved A Tree Grows In Brooklyn as well as Stephen King's Lisey's Story!. Anything with depth and wisdom with a little wit thrown in!. I keep buying books that look promising but just don't give me the feeling of being sorry when the last page is read!. Any suggestions!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I take it from your question that you want a book that will make you think about the world and life so I recommend the following:

"An American Tragedy" by Theodore Dreiser
"Ishmael" by Daniel Quinn
"The Fountainhead" by Ayn Rand

the guardian by nicholas sparks (dont worry its really not a love story at all just the begining a litle)
the memory of water by karen white
the other bolyen girl
and prob the best would be atonment by ian mcewen that will really make u feel sorry at the end i promise (and i loved all of the books u mentioned)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Okay, well this one isn't the most emotionally deep, but I think you'd like The Eyre Affair; it's centered around Jane Eyre!. It's such a cool book, and it's hilarious!
I think you'd like the Uglies books, too, and maybe Freedom Writers!? I'm not sure!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
