My favorite author is Marcel Proust!.

His writing style is very distinct and his works can take a long time to get through for the mere fact that they are literary gold!. He pioneered the "stream of consciousness" style of prose!.

Well!.!.!.I just love the book! :) It's so great! you know,my fave genre is fantasy, but the number one book for me is "Gone With The Wind"!
I don't know how to say why l like it best, you know the whole story is amazing!. All the dialogs, the war parts, the romance, Scarlet, Irish things, Rhett (!),every character; they are all so deep!. obviously, my fave parts of the book is dialogs between Rhett and Scarlet!
I've always thought Margaret Mitchell was very smart, genius somehow, to write such a story! :)

Well, there is not really a author I hate; I've just decided not to read anymore of Milan Kundera, but I don't hate him!. His books especially "slowness" and "The Unbearable Lightness of Being", put me into a deep depression, I feel empty, that what good life is for or!.!.!. I don't know, I don't feel right for a week after reading them!Www@QuestionHome@Com

My favorite author would have to be Franz Kafka!.

His style is very unique is the term Kafkaesque comes from this very fact!. His stories tend to be nightmarish were the character is unable to see beyond the present situation!.

Stephanie Meyer would have to be my least favorite!. i think Nicoli hit it on the nail!. She simply cannot write!. Her books are a waste of paper and were only published because lots of people with no taste would be willing to shell out money for a simplistic read with vampires and the chance of sex!. It's a poorly written harlequin novel posing as a great book!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

although she is a new author and she has only one book i like Rune Michaels!. she a pretty new author and i think only a few people have read her book "Genesis Alpha"!. it is a very interesting book about science and brotherhood!. Her writing is first person point of view!. i usually don't read books but since i read it, i have read more books!. also like the alchemist by paulo choelo and the lovely bones!. i recommend you to read all these book but specially the first one cause many people don't know about it!. i hope that it will become popular over the timeWww@QuestionHome@Com

a great author is J!.K!. Rowling!. she has this amazing style of writing that really gets you involved emotionally in the story!. i!.e!. if someone died, you tear up because you feel close to that character!. as everyone knows, she wrote te Harry Potter novels!. those novels have a way of drawing you into the world of wizards and Hogwarts where you can just wave a wand and make something change!. i don't really have a least favorite author!. i'd have to read many terrible works by the same author to know if i don't like their works!. My favourite author is Douglas Adams!. He wrote extremely witty, often quite bizarre science fiction, including The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy!. I love him because his books were extremely clever, engaging, entertaining and ahead of their time!.

I can't stand Stephenie Meyer!. Her Twilight series is poorly written and self-indulgent; and gives such appalling messages to readers as "It's okay for your boyfriend to prevent you from having a social life if it's out of 'love'" and "Stalking is not only fine but actually really flattering, people!"Www@QuestionHome@Com
