Question: Does kite runner the movie stay true to the book!?

i have to do an analysis on kite runner
an its due tomorrow morning
and i confess i didn't quite read the book when i should have
so here is my question
how much different is the movie from the book
( i know its gonna differ between details and what not)

oh wow, we have to do a panel on it next tuesday and so far it's been pretty accurate to the movie!. I haven't read the whole book yet, but direct ideas have been presented in the movie!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
