Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: you could try other vampire books!. Scott Westerfeld is really awesome, but his books don't have as much romance in them!. Jodi Picoult is also amazing, but her books are herder than Stephenie Meyer's and they deal with more controversial topics The Bar Code Tattoo books rock!
