Question: If you aim to eventually get a story published, is it safe to put it on fictionpress!?
I'm afraid someone will steal my stories & publish them, claiming it as their own (plagiarism)!. Is there a way to ensure this doesn't happen other than taking it off of the site!? I like the constructive criticism that I get, but I don't want to jeopardize it, you know!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you intend to publish your book and are fairly certain that you'll be successful, don't post it somewhere on the Internet!. Once you've written it, in actuality, it is copyrighted!. However, why would you want to place it where people can read it without paying for it when you hope eventually to sell it!? People tend not to buy what they can have for nothing!Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you're close to being finished and are fairly certain you'll send it off to be published, definitely!. Once you've hit that mark, its not worth the risk of losing it all!. Its good for starting up, but there comes a point that you don't want someone else to take it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
