Question: Opinion: Would you read a book like this!?

My family is always telling me that if i wrote my dreams down, I could make a fortune by making them into books!.
I do have crazy dreams (and I remember most of them vividly), but do you think a book or books like that would sell!?

A book based off of a dream would work, seeing as many people get their inspiration from dreams!. I wouldn't make it too alike to the dream, however, because dreams tend to be very spontaneous and confusing!. If you take a basic idea though, and add an interesting plot, maybe an unexpected twist, good characters, and it is well written, then I'm sure it would appeal to a wide audience -depending on the genre it falls in of course!.

I do agree with the idea about writing things down!. You can get some really good inspiration!. People are always looking out for books with originality, and new ideas can come from dreams, where we don't limit our imagination! :) Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well maybe not a COMPILATION, but if you could take the idea of one dream and turn it into an entire book that would be something, but a compiliation makes it seem a little boring to me, but I would read one good long dream over a ton of small dreams, something to think about!.

I've thought abou this before, but I haven;t had any good dreams and haven't wanted to write any of them, but I do have some nutty ones for example!.

I dreamed once a girl was kidnapped by mobsters and they demanded I give them a pink pony (which I rode on to them) and a fridge full of lettuce!.!.!. wtf!? After that I don't know what happened but I ended up riding the pink pony into some barren wasteland with some monsters and some armor in the ground!.!.!. yeah I'm messed up :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

If it were based on a dream, I'd probably read it!. But remember that dreams don't normally have themes and internal conflicts, so you'll have to add that as you go along!. also remember to pick the right dreams!. For instance, I once had a dream about talking rats trying to take over my house!. If I had put that in a book and tried to get it published, I would have looked ridiculous!. Pick the cool, interesting dreams that you think would make a great story!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would depend on whether the book was marketed as fiction or non-fiction (i!.e!. dream interperatation)!. If it was fiction and the subjects of the dreams caught my interest possibily!. My taste in books can be a little out there at times so if it was a book that looked interesting then yes!. Like say the book was about a kid that was having dreams that led him on a quest, only to find out that the quest in and of itself was a dream!. Yeah I know weird, but like I said I tend to think a little uncoventionally!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

To believe it or not most books come from people dreams!. I am pretty sure if you had a good dream on night and made it into a book and got it published and it was written well and what not that you will be able to sell this book and im sure a lot of people would read it!. If it's just about different dreams that you have had, then it wouldn't be interesting!. However, if you base a story off of one of your dreams, then that would be a lot better!.

I would make it into a story about a person with crazy dreams that have some connection with real life!. It would unify everything!. Don't be afraid to fictionize to make it more enjoyable to read!. Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

If it was an anthology of dreams not releated to each other, I would not read it!. It might be appropriate or cool for children learning to read, maybe!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
