Question: Is the audio book for Harry Potter on Itunes worth buying!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
I have heard all seven audiobooks and thouroughly enjoyed them!. Try borrowing one from the library first, just to make sure you like the style and can enjoy listening to an audiobook - some people don't like them or can't listen to them for long periods!. I always play an audiobook in my car if I am driving alone, and these are excellent books for a beginning listener!.

The books are extremely well performed!. I am familiar with the Jim Dale narrated ones, but I have heard the Stephen Fry ones are excellent also!. The narrator does an excellent job with the voices and accents and really draws you into the story!. I also think they did a good job of "aging" the characters as the books proceded from the first books at age 11 through age 17 - you can easily distinguish the individual characters and follow the action and narrative quite easily!.

Borrow one from a library first, and if you like it, you might then want to invest in buying any or all of the audio books!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I have all 7 Harry Potter books on CD and really enjoy listening to them in my car!. I don't know how much it would cost to buy them on iTunes but if it's not prohibitively expensive I highly recommend the recordings!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It costs a ton!. Itd be cheaper to buy the book itself and read it - its not as easy to read it as it is to listen, I suppose, but that way you really learn more, you enjoy the book more, and you save a TON of money!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I've heard the voices of the people who read the book can be annoying!. also, iTunes is an expensive way to 'read' a book!. You should just buy a copy instead!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm not sure about buying it on iTunes, but I've heard the Harry Potter audio books were great!. Maybe get them from the library!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
