Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Well, as I am a fellow writer I need to know a few things!. I have been writing since I was in grade 3!. Now, firstly you need to write what you feel comfortable writing and what you are interested in!. There is no use in writing about fish if you don't know anything about them and find them boring!. Writing is a great thing and is something that you need to concentrate on!.It is fantastic if your interests match a lot of other peoples, but it is better to write from your heart, not from somebody else's head!. Hope this helpedWww@QuestionHome@Com I usually read books from the YA section but genre wise I like sci-fi/fanasty and realisitic fiction!. The biggest thing I look for are realistic characters!. Usually like the anti-hero as opposed to the traditional hero!. They have flaws and aren't the people you would normally look to as a hero type!. I like reading characters that I can relate too!. Stuff like Harry Potter, or Ender's Game, Maximum Ride, Pendragon Then in the realistic fiction stuff like Define Normal, Catalyst, Chris Crutcher's books!. Write what you know, both in genre and subject matter though and you'll find it's a lot easier to do!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Pillars of the Earth and World Without End by Ken Follet Ingo Series by Helen Dunmore 1-4 On Chesil Beach by Ian McEwen Debt of Bones by Terry Goodkind Welcome to the Dead House Confessor by Terry Goodkind Twilight series 1-3 Before I Die by Jenny Downham Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden Only human by Jenny Diske The Four Feathers by AEW Mason Shakespear by Bill Bryson The Knitting Circle by Ann Hood The Dolls House by Rumer Godden To Kill a Mocking Bird by Harper Lee A Wayne in a Manger by Gervase Phinn Sorting out Billy by Jo Brand The Best of Fathers by Anne Baker Dating Hamlet by Lisa Fielder Ultimate Peter Rabbit - story of Beatrix Potter Carnarvon and Carter by 8th Countess of Carnarvon The Sunday Philosophers Club by Alexander McCall Smith Cranford by Elizabeth Gaskill Gods Behaving Badly by Marie Phillips Time Travelers Wife by Audrey Neffenigger American Gods by Neil Gainham 5th Child by Doris Lessing Heart Shaped Box by Joe Hill The Pest House by Jim Crace Gulliver’s Travels by Jonathon Swift Swimming with Fishes and Swimming without a Net by MaryJanice Davidson No!
