Well for one, it does teach!. It helps you understand that no world can be perfect, it is going to have it's faults!.
also, it helps us understand our society today!. Not directly, but indirectly!. I learned that everyone has a different perspective of what a utopian world is!.
There isn't anything in the book any 6th-8th grader can't handel!. I am in eighth and read it in 6th and didn't find anything about it bothersome!.
You learn without realizing it!. You learn not to kill, and to be thankful for what you have!. To appreciate all the little things!. Color, twins, opinions, and feelings!. Yes we have pain and suffering, but for the most part gets out weighed by the joy and happiness!.
It also teaches you to travel!. You see how the little utopia was in the middle of nowhere, but if you leave nowhere you eventually find our world!. This shows how sheltered people can be!.
I recommend you read it so you have a better understanding of what I am saying and you may find other good arguments that I may have forgotten!. Overall it was a good, thought provoking book!. Definitely worth reading!.

You simply must read the book, Kevin!. It is a different outlook book you'll find hard to put down!. It seems to me it's a dysutopia or is it dystopia!. That means it is not ideal!. Few utopias are either!. The story includes euthanizing people which is what is meant by "releasing" them -- I happen to think this is wrong!. You are the future, however, and we are all in desparate need for you to be educated to make an educated decision, so please read and get wise!. If you don't have wisdom, talk to someone about the book like a parent, uncle, aunt, cousin, school buddies!. Maybe our world is more like this book if we cannot call someone to just chat and have to always go to this Yahoo! business to get some real questions answered!.
Seek and you shall find!. Knock and the door shall be opened!. Ask and it shall be given!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
