I enjoyed the Uglies series and I think they were definitely worth the read, although I may not read them over again!. They are enjoyable and interesting, and I like the characters!. It's also an easy read, but there is some meaning to the story!.

The first one Uglies, is my favorite!. Its the most compelling because I like the plot!. The main character is smart, spunky, and easy to relate to!. She's not a boring, dull girl like Bella from Twilight!.

The second one, Pretties is also good!. I liked it a little less because the characters are pretties so they are dumb for the first parts of the book, but I won't say anymore because I don't want to give anything away!. The later chapters are far more interesting!.

The third book, Specials is decent but I don't like it as much as the other two!. The characters just seemed a bit too different to me, but it has a good plot!.

Extras, the last book is very interesting, and I like it a lot but let me warn you that its a new plot line with new characters!. The main characters from the other book are very minor!. Originally the author, Scott Westerfield intended to make a trilogy, but he decided to make a fourth one!. I'm glad he did, because this is a good book, but its different from the rest!.

Well, I read the series because I kinda wanted to read someting wierd that was popular!. Personally, I didnt really like them, and I wouldnt read them again!. I found them a bit long in places, and the main character (Tally) totally gets messed up through out the stories!. I like the ending in the 3 book (Specials), because it fixed everything!. I havent read the 4th book, which is a different persons story, and I dont think I will!.

Uglies had a good plot line, and the writing was interesting!. I only got bored a few times!. I really like the two-minded views on things, because you can tell when an opinion is really Tally's, and when the author Scott Westerfeld snuck his own opinion in there!. The books are cool because its in the future 300 years after we all die!.

Pretties was funner in the plot, but not as well written!. It was entertaining though!. I always like the middle books in series', because I dont have to get intorduced to anything and I dont have to read about how the whole story is wrapped up!.

Specials was really cool because they fix up the whole mess that got Tally into the problems in the first place!. It ends the story well!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'm usually not into those sort of books, but I read them and actually kind of liked them!. I mean, if people are going to obsess over books, I'd much rather see it be the Uglies series rather than Twilight because at least Uglies has some though/creativity put into it!. I would suggest not reading Extras though!. I started it and couldn't even finish it because it was so completely different from the rest it was just really hard to get into!. Give it a shot, maybe you'll end up liking them :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

they were REALLY great, especially the rist one!. the second and third were a bit less enjoyable, but interesting all the same!. i would recommend it!. if you don't want to read them, then here are some otheres you may enjoy, i know i did!:
