Very sad and frightening I mean, it was predictable because it's a totalitarian government!. Things weren't going to end well for Winston because everything that he did throughout the book led up to it!. It would have been a deus ex machina if Winston had lived!. But the O'Brien part, now that was a shocker!. I loved that plot twist though!.

It's just really scary that a human being would do that to another!. I know it's total science fiction, but it's real, it's out there!. Dictators do do that kind of stuff!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
