Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Pick a date in history!. Any date!. Do it randomly!. Then google the date to find out what happened back them!. Write your story about whatever you find!. It will force you to be creative!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

- Pick a historic period that interests you, e!.g!. Tudor times, Celtic times, Ancient Egypt etc!.
- Find out some more background information (food, clothing, attitudes towards different things) about the period so you can make the story realistic!.
- Find out about any important events that occurred during that time period, for example if you chose Tudor times, your protagonists could be Protestants during the reign of Mary Tudor (famous for her public executions of so-called heretics)!.

History is full of problems, obstacles and conflicts!. Once you figure out what you're interested in, you should be spoiled for choice!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Maybe it could be set in the old days when marrying you cousins and stuff was normal, maybe you could like make one of the boys the cousin of the girl and one of the boys just a friend!. The cousin falls in love with the girl but the boy-friend and the girl like each other!. Maybe the cousins becomes jealous and reacts badly by doing damage to someone!.

Just an idea!.

Hope ive helped!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
