Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: well, instead of just a book, here's a whole series that is definitely romantic , and it has mystery too :) the four books in the series are by gemma halliday ["spying in high heels"; "killer in high heels"; "undercover in high heels"; and "alibi in high heels"] they follow a klutzy shoe designer, maddie springer, and her solving mysteries!.!.!.plus her adventures with a certain detective, jack ramirez!. soooo romantic and they make me laugh every time i re- and re-read them!. plus, there's another one coming out in january!. a must read for everyone!. It was a run away bestseller in 2005 and many book clubs picked it as a read!. My boyfriend and I even read it together and he loved it!. The book tells the story of Henry and Clare's romance through time!. See Henry has this ability to travel through time but he never knows if hes going back or forward in time!. He meets Clare originally as a young girl when she rescues him from a potentially embarrassing situation!. He later meets up with her when she is grown but she does not realize it is the same man!. The love that they develop is so strong that it literally stands the test of time!. Not only is this the best love story I have read but it is also a great adventure following Henry as he jumps through time!. Look for the movie adaptation to come out around Christmas!
