I want to name a race horse in my story Candy Apple but I think it is to close to Road Apple!. What do you think!? Any other good names!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, I don't think Candy Apple suggests Road Apple, and I think it's a great name for a horse!. You could also use:

Rock Candy
Applejack
