Yes, US mail is your best bet!. You should go into the post office and let them tell you the postage amount!. They will also be able to tell you about the special book rate (I think it is third class) they have available if you aren't worried about it getting there quickly!.

I think it would be about $5 priority mail, you could save fifty cents sending parcel post, and about $1!.50 sending it book class!. It all depends on the weight of the package, so if you don't have a scale, go to the post office!. If it gets returned to you, he'll probably be out of boot camp before you find out he didn't get it--so make sure it's right!.

If you really need to figure this out at home, go to usps!.com and guess the weight of the package!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

US Mail is the cheapest!. You do have to do it in person (go to your nearest US Post Office) to mail it!. Ask the clerk what is the cheapest option!. I often request Media Mail or parcel post, but I double check with the clerk as there have been instances in which First Class was only a few cents more expensive, but the packages reach their destination quicker!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You can use media mail, however this form of mail is slow and usually not much cheaper then sending the item priority mail!. Just take it to the post office so they can weigh it and put the proper amount of postage on it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Wrap it or put it in a mailer pouch!. Have it weighed at the post office!. There is a 'book rate which is cheaper but very slow delivery!. one books is not going to be very much!.
