Question: Calling all people who know a lot about PublishAmerica!!?

Hey, I was just wondering if any of you have heard of PublishAmerica, it's a publishing site for authors who can't pay to be published, but would very much like to!. And I'm one of them!. But, I don't exactly feel comfortable giving away specific info about myself to a site I don't know much about at all!. So, can you guys help me out!? Do you know if they're a good site or not!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

PublishAmerica has a well-deserved reputation as being by far the worst vanity press there is!.

There are something like 65,000 messages about it (plus a helpful summary thread), many from former PA authors, at AbsoluteWrite!.com!.

If you want to hold your book in your hands rather than sell it to people you've never met, try Lulu!.com instead!. They're honest about what you get!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Don't know much about PublishAmerica, but I use Createspace!.com
At Createspace, you publish your book for free and they also furnish the ISBN number which is needed to sell in stores and to get your book in libraries!. The books are only printed as they are ordered, so you don't have to have an inventory of books to sell!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just google the name, and you'll find plenty of info!.!.!. most of it negative!.

PublishAmerica is a vanity press, not a traditional, legitimate publisher!. I would stay away from them if I were you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
