He was getting Old and had never Fought in any War, It was a time of Peace!. He was very Bored with Life, as all Noblemen of that Era liked to Prove themselves in Battle or do something Daring like Rescue some Damsel in DIstress!. He Realised he was getting Old and his Grand Chance of doing something Great had passed him by!. So his imagination began to play him tricks!. He donned his Grandfathers Armour and Sword Shield and Lance and Sallied Forth into an Imaginary Battle with Dragons, With an Old Estate Worker of his as his Squire Sancho Panza and His Mule!. His Own Horse was Old and it's Name was Rozinante!. He Attacked a Windmill with his Lance thinking it was a Dragon!. His Squire knew he was Crazy but Humoured him and went on with the Charade!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I haven't personally read this but have talked about this Don Quixote and the book several times!. What I'm understanding is it's funny in ways, probably even considered satire for it's time in that Don Quixote tries to be chivalrous in the way society wants for the time but finds it all impossible!.
