I think I'm going to read Dreamland!. I'm curious, now!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Well, he did sneak into her room on more than one occasion uninvited in the middle of the night to watch her sleep!. Has anyone ever been arrested for that!? I think maybe!. But after a certain point, I wouldn't say stalker, but one step up from abusive!. He controls every aspect of her life almost from the third chapter, if you will note!. Though, Edward lacks the character development to be called "stalker!." He just kind of decides to follow Bella with no real motivation at all!. And Bella!.!.!. Oh, Bella is a Mary Sue if I ever met one!. It was supposed to make her relatable and human but it just made her annoying!. Her only two personality traits are doormat and (somewhat) stubborn!. SMeyer didn't develop her right, so her only personality (watered-down) traits even contradict each other! They have no reason to do what they do, so SMeyer just makes them do it, making for a crappy story!. I was reading Dreamland by Sarah Dessen this morning!. It's about an abusive teen relationship and I was reminded again and again of Bella and Edward (though not to a point quite as bad), but her characters were developed and did things for a reason!. I think if Meyer had developed her characters better, then the story would have motivation and been a whole lot better!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Keep in mind that the whole twilight series is about forbidden and dangerous love (in a way) and also keep in mind that edward is in love with bella and bella is with him!. Edward is not really stalking her, he just want to protect her and be with her!. I think the reason that you may find her annoying is because you are seeing the story through her eyes and are aware of her thoughts and feeling which may get annoying!. If you go and read the copy of midnight sun (which is currently posted in her website) you well see bella in through edwards eyes and get a differnt impression of her!.Www@QuestionHome@Com hes a vampire who was kinda frozen in being over protective when he changed and therefore never changed cuz he cant and as for the stalks part well i guess he kinda does that but its cuz 1, he can and 2, hes been known to be a all or nothing guy cuz thats how he was frozen when he changed so as for the wanting to know about bella, hes all for it so he takes it to the extreme but hes not like a peeping tom watching her change or shower or any of that creepy crap, hes just curious to how she lives and thinks since shes the one person in the world he cant just hear and know every detail of their existance!. its kinda sweet!. and bella can sometimes be annoying in her stuborness we all know that but she is actually really brave and smart and just an average everyday girl, thats why her fan base likes her!. And no I think bella is totally relatable (not the whole vampire thing, but the fact that she is just a normal girl!.) That's what makes it so interesting and that's why so many people love it!.
