First, find a publisher who handles your genre (is it a mystery or a romance or a children's book!.!.!.!?) and who is looking for new clients!. To find a publisher like this, try looking in Writer's Market, a book that should be in your local library!. If they don't have a copy, you can buy one for about $20, or you can go on their website, www!.writersmarket!.com, but they do charge a fee!. Each publisher has a set of submission guidelines - these are rules about what they want to review to see if they want to publish your book!.

Once you've found a publisher who is looking for clients, write a query letter!. There are many books and websites that tell you how to do this, but it's basically a letter where you introduce yourself, give a brief (one paragraph) description of your book, and thank them for their time!. You send the query letter and whatever the publisher asks for in their guidelines - don't send more (or less) than what they ask for!

You can send this off to many publishers at the same time!.

You can contact the book publishers or you can "self publish"!.

Xlibris will allow you to submit your book and print as many as you wish!.

also, Lulu is a good option and might be a little more user friendly!.

Start by sending it to a publisher!. (It may take a while to get a reply)!. If they say no, send it to another! This process may take a while until you get someone who will publish it, but keep trying!

Good luck! :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Before you send it to a publisher, get it copyrighted first!. Send it off to a publisher, and await a response!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
