Dear class,
I am currently reading The Pretty Committee Strikes Back by Lisi Harrison!. This book is part of the “ The Clique” series and has a young adult and teen fiction genre!.
In this book the seventh graders' at Octavian Country Day School or OCD, as mentioned in the book, go to an upcoming trip to Lake Placid, in the state of New York!. Though this trip is only $1500, Kristen, one of the members of the TPC( Claire, Dylan, Massie, Kristen, and Alicia), or the pretty committee, can't afford to go, because her parents cannot afford, and she misses it!. When the TPC offered to help pay the money, she says she wants to raise it herself, and tries, but unfortunately doesn't get the entire fee, and is stuck in Westchester, New York!. Lastly, Mrs!. Marvil, Dylan's mother, also goes to the trip as a little surprise!.
For the next 3 days, TPC and the rest of the students were stuck at Lake Placid for the Presidents' day weekend, TPC with the necessities they need, such as Anti-frizz serum, Portable DVD players, and lots of outfits!. But, unfortunately, Mr!. Myner, the Geography teacher, took away these necessities!. Claire wants to get Cam (her crush) back by doing what her friend Layne's advice by becoming the Claire she was before she was in TPC!. So, Claire agreed to do anything to get Cam back, in which Layne gave her a crazy hair cut!. During the trip, Massie, the leader of TPC, organizes M!.U!.C!.K or Massie's underground kissing clinic, and teaches some of the girls from her grade how to kiss!.
But, Massie actually tells the MUCK girls that she has kissed a boy before, but actually lies, even though Claire knows her secret!. During the Lake Placid trip, she teaches the girls the art of kissing by using “Doose”, a moose she had named

I am now going to make a connection!. Like Massie, I am also a lip virgin, and might of lied to a few people about already having my first kiss!. I am also making a text to text connection: I heard that there will be a movie on one of the clique stories ( I believe they're making “best friends for never”), and I am really looking forward to seeing it!.
Hopefully, the book will be more better and page turing towards the ending of the book!. I predict that Claire will get Cam back and that Massie will get her first kiss with her crush, Derrington!. I am looking forward to updating all of you on this book!.
