Question: What authors would you recommend!?

I like mystery/suspense/thrillers !. !. !. have read everything by Stuart Woods and also like Mary Higgins Clark & Sue Grafton!. Are there other authors who write similar style books that you could recommend!? Perhaps people who also write series of books with the same characters!? Thanks! Www@QuestionHome@Com

Agatha Christie is terrific, and the William Monk books by Anne Perry!. They're both British writers!. Perry's are period pieces set about 150 years ago!. They're very well written!. And Christie is just awesome!. My fav is The Murder of Roger Ackroyd!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Chelsea Cain wrote a really interesting thriller, Heartsick!.

It is about a serial killer (who is seriously twisted, no joke), who kidnaps and tortures a detective, but instead of killing him like she usually does, she calls 911, saves his life, and goes to jail!. Then the story goes from there and!.!.!.woah!.

Really, its definitely something to consider if you are into mystery/thrillers!.

And she is coming out with a sequel soon, so you have that to look forward to as well!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Have just read Alice Sebold's, The Lovely Bones!. Its very different from any other book I have read!. I believe Peter Jackson intends to make it a movie!. Alice Sebold has written only one other book - However Wilbur Smith writes series with the same characters!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
