Question: Good plot for my teen novel!?
I'm writing a teen novel about a girl who meets a guy at a youth group through a friend!. The characters are in grade nine!. I need a main plot/ body for the book!.!.!. the guy, Braden, was friendly to Melinda, the main character, the first Friday night, the next week he's ignoring her and glaring at her, the third week he isn't there, and the fourth week he's all smiles and sitting beside her!. He ends up moving next door to her!. I need a good main plot, ending, and reason for Braden's behavior!. Thanks!! :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Your story isn't really your story if you take all of your ideas from others, especially for the main plot/body!. Try thinking of something of your own!. Since you asked on here, you obviously need help with that!. So try reading the ideas people give on here and formulating something of your own from those!.

Here's some ideas I've come up with!. Braden could have a mental condition!. Bipolar maybe!? Or maybe he hears things about Melinda, things that aren't exactly exemplary!. And then the fourth week, something or someone dispels the rumors and he finds that he really likes her!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

SEX!!!

seriously though
if u want teens to read a novel either put magic in there like in Harry Potter or better yet put some crazy Maury style bullshit in there like ur girl melinda sleeping with Braden and a male camp councilor named Craig and maybe/maybe not getting knocked up and being caught up in a love triangle or maybe a literal one with a threesome
