I have made quite a few of my own bookmarks, both laminated paper and fabric!.

I also have some really fancy bookmarks from various places - some I've bought, some people have given to me as presents!.

Never, never, never, never bent pages; I'm almost as emphatic about book flaps (but not quite)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Usually D or F depending on how big the book is, or if there is a book flap!. I'll use the book flap as long as the number of pages don't get too thick!. If that's not available I just remember what page I'm on and don't worry about bookmarks because, well, I lose them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's only fancy because it has a plastic cover and a pretty string with beads on it!. I have so many bookmarks, though!.!.!.come to think of it, they're all pretty "fancy!." Most of them are metal!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

F- I don't use a bookmark!. I somehow remember what page I'm on without even memorizing the number!. Sometimes I use the dust jacket's flap!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

E- I've used everything from a receipt to a Kleenex, lol!.

C - plain bookmark!. The good old kind that you can buy for a buck at chapters!.
However I do collect bookmarks, and own quite a few fancy ones!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

B - Its a Frog Prince sitting atop a metal post so when it's in the book, all you see is the frog with his little crown sitting on top!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
