Question: I don't know what I want to be, I'm a good writer, anybody got any ideas!?
I'm only fourteen, but I still want to have an ultimate goal for my future!. I'm already writing a book that I will be publishing in 2009, (this is actually true, look for Dragon Writer around November or so)!. But I want to be RICH and FAMOUS, and I've heard that being an author doesn't take you down that road!. But I've been told that movie producing might be good idea for me, since I'm creative and all, (I'm also REALLY good with computers)!.
So if you have any good ideas, tell me! I'll be glad to hear them!Www@QuestionHome@Com

It really all depends on your passions!. If you're good at writing and are into audio/video production, then, by all means, go into screenwriting!. If not, then try to be an author, but do something else in computers on the side, to GET rich and famous (though, personally, i think that with enough publications, rich and famous is a DEFINITE possibility for an author!. Look at J!.K!. Rowling, Stephenie Meyer, Christopher Paolini, Stephen King, etc!.)
If you're getting published at age fourteen, then you're already ten paces ahead of the game!. Getting published at that young an age is fantastic, and i commend you!. I definitely think that you could be come that rich and famous person you want to be if you can publish this early!.

Find something that you are passionate about!. You can be *rich* and *famous* and hating life if you are not doing something you love!. Conversely, you can be living a middle class lifestyle and loving every minute of it if you are passionate about what you do!.
Get your priorities straight before you try to map out your future!. Money and fame are not the important things in life!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
If you want to get some experience writing to get published, there are plenty of Web sites out there I suggest you visit: http://www!.mediabistro!.com/, http://www!.writejobs!.com/, and http://www!.journalismnow!.com/!. Writing for, say a newspaper, isn't going to bring you a lot of money!. But if you write at a corporate level, you can make really good money (for a writer)!.
But ultimately, you should do what you love (as long as it doesn't leave you on the side of the road in a cardboard box)!.
also, if you're looking into producing, consider taking some production classes in high school, if your school offers them!. Or maybe a local community college offers courses that you can try to see what you really like to do!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
