wow that is a really great idea, and i think that you can turn it into a really great story!. i have friends that definitely could have used a book like the one you are describing, and it could have really helped them cope with their struggles!. here are a few steps on how to make your story really great!.

- spend time dwelling on your characters!. think about how they would act in certain situations, what they would say, and what they would do!. spend time with you characters until you know them really well!.
-research what kinds of things the young female may have gone through with her alcoholic mother, and how her mother treated her!. think about the young females emotions, and how they affected the people around her, as well as herself!.
-ask yourself questions, like 'why is her mother drinking!?' 'why won't she stop!?' and what can the young female do to protect herself from becoming like her mother!?' just things like that
-create a basic outline of the events you would like to include in your story!. you can add details later!.
-as you begin to write your story, add some dialogue, and real experiences that will help the reader connect with the story, and really understand its true meaning!.

Once you have completed your book, go through it and eliminate approximately ten percent of unnecessary details from your book!. most writers have the problem of extending ideas too much, and they end up over explaining things, really only making the reader more confused

i recommend this book for publishing information:

I think that's a very good idea!. Since you lived it, you should definitely be qualified to do it!.

That's wonderful that you want to help others through your fiction--I believe that's one of the most powerful ways to get through to someone!. People, specifically teenagers and children, imitate characters from movies and books all the time and it's beneficial for them to have a hero to look up to that came from a tough life, especially if their life is similar!.

Your book could help others to feel like it's possible to rise up and live a better life than their parent(s) showed them!.

Good luck!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
