I have not read those books but there are some good books I recommend, although whether you would enjoy them is a matter of personal choice:-

Meg Cabot's Mediator series
Meg Cabot's Princess Diaries
Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight"
Cecelia Ahern's books "If you could see me now", "Where rainbows end" and many others
Jodi Picoult's books

I really liked the Twilight series!. You might hear that a lot, but it's really good!
