No one writes like Koontz - he is in a class of his own, but there are some other writers that are good like him:
James Patterson
Steve Martini
Greg Iles
Steven White
Richard Laymon
Dan Brown (his new one is great - it's called "deception point" and isn't controversial like his davinci code and angels and deamons)

These are all suspense, mystery type books - all good!. also, I love John Grisham - pick him up every few books!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would recommend Robin Cook!. He writes medical thrillers but I find they are a good read similar to Koontz!. I would especially recommend his books revolving around the character's Laurie Montomgery and Jack Stapleton!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
