In the second WOMBAT test, created by JK Rowling for her fans we can surmise that house elves live for 200 years!. The question was

I think it's fairly safe to say that the false statement is "A house-elf's allegiance is foremost to its house (rather than to the inhabitants of the house)!. Therefore they live for 200 years

So yeah I definitely think they could have kids at 70!. I think they could have kids when they're 100!. If you base it off humans then humans can have kids what between the ages of 13 and 50!. Saying the average lifespan is 70 that means humans can breed over 50% of their lives!. Now relate that to House Elves, and I think they could breed between their 20's and mid 150's!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think it does not depend so much on age, rather freedom!. House elves are slaves!. I doubt they would be allowed to have a family {children} while still in service to their masters!. I can't back this up with a source, strictly opinion!. Good question!Www@QuestionHome@Com

i think they will have a normal cycle like humans!. maybe they too busy doing work and it be a reason for them!. furthermore, they work 24 hours!. they can get baby early if they want!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
