The black lake is Loch Nerris and that is where they do the outside scenes!. Actually have a picture of the loch and mountains (also Nerris) so you should go Scotland!. If you want to get inside though, you best get to England and Oxford University--some of the great hall scenes are filmed there in Christ Church college!.
