Question: I need a short story idea, please!!?

Um, I need a short story idea for my english homework!. It has to have a theme!. My english teacher assigned me a theme and it's: quality is more important than quantity!. Any ideas on what I can write about that shows this theme!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Only, he was growing older, and his
son joined in!.

His son made them faster with
machinery!. The son thought
it'd bring in more profits!.

Only, people were not satisfied!.
They fell apart easily!.

The son made more baskets(

ok, how about you write a story about a girl your age!. She never had many friends, but she had one really really good friend!. She decided that she wanted to be more popular so she ditched the good friend to try and make more friends!. Then at the end of the story, have something like she realizes that the many friends aren't very good friends and shes glad to just have one!. This shows that its better to have one friends than 10 bad ones!.
